Fuji Filter Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") shall handle the personal information of users in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). The Company shall hereby establish the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Policy").
Article 1 (Personal Information)
"Personal information" in this Privacy Policy shall mean information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, i.e., information containing name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information or other identifier or its equivalent which can be used to identify the specific individual, including any information that can be easily collated with other information, such as appearance, fingerprints, voice prints, and health insurance card health insurance card number, and thereby used to identify that specific individual.

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not constitute the provision of personal information to a third party:

- When the Company transfers personal information due to business succession, merger or other reasons.
- When the Company shares personal information of a user with a specific recipient and notifies the said users in advance or makes the information readily available to the said user regarding the items of personal information to be shared, the scope of the persons with whom such information will be shared, the purpose for which such information will be used, and the name of the person responsible for managing such information.
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
1. If a user requests the Company to disclose the user's personal information, the Company shall disclose it to such user without delay. However, if such disclosure falls under any of the following, the Company may not disclose whole or a part of such information. If the Company decides not to disclose it in part or whole, the Company shall notify such user to that effect without delay:

2. If the Company receives a request from the user as described in the preceding paragraph and deems it necessary to respond to the request, the Company shall promptly correct the personal information.
3. If the Company makes any corrections in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph or decides not to make any corrections, the Company shall notify the user to that effect without delay.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
1. If the Company receives a request from a user to suspend the use of or delete his/her personal information (hereinafter collectively referred to as “suspend” or "suspension") on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or has been obtained by unlawful means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
2. If the Company deems it necessary to respond to the request based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, the Company shall suspend the use of such personal information without delay.
3. If the Company suspends or decides not to suspend the use of such personal information in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company shall notify the user to that effect without delay.
4. Notwithstanding the two preceding paragraphs, in cases where it is too costly or difficult to suspend the use of personal information and there are alternative measures necessary to protect the user's rights and interests, the Company shall take such alternative measures.
Article 9 (Modification of Privacy Policy)
1. The Company may modify the contents of this Policy without notice, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations or other matters specified in this Policy.
2. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the modified Policy shall be effective from the time it is posted on this website.
